A belated RIP for Jet Harris (born Terence Harris; July 6 1939) who passed away on March 18. Harris was the original bass player for the great British instrumental group The Shadows (and somtimes back-up band for Cliff Richard). As John Lennon once said, “Before Clff and the Shadows, there had been nothing worth listening to in British music.”
